Message from Buena Vista Optical: As COVID-19 continues to impact our neighborhoods and the world, we want to keep you updated on the changes we are making Buena Vista to support our patients and eye care experts. The health and well-being of our staff and our patients remains our top priority.
The health and safety of our patients and staff remains our top priority. To align with federal, state and local guidance, at this time we will be prioritizing “essential care” appointments. Essential care can include, but is not limited to, Trauma, Vision Loss, Pain, Redness or an exam required for eyewear due to a lost or broken pair. For routine annual exams, please revisit your appointment needs at a later date. If you have questions, please call our office at 773-863-9234 or request an appointment AFTER April 21rst, 2020.
If you have an eye exam scheduled at Buena Vista, we ask that you notify us prior to your scheduled
appointment if:
- You have traveled to a high-risk country or any other COVID-19 affected area in the last 14 days.
- You have had close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19.
- You have a fever, any lower respiratory symptoms or symptoms of the flu. If this is the case, we
recommend you contact your primary care physician.
If any of the above are applicable, we respectfully ask to reschedule your appointment for a later date.
Additionally, if you have a current prescription and are visiting us for your eyewear needs and any of the above are applicable, we ask you to take the additional precautions and delay your visit temporarily. We appreciate your cooperation in doing so and thank you for your understanding in this matter.
